For picspammy's challenge #22: illustrate a song. I was recently watching some of ER's season 7, so I used Ray LaMontagne's Hold You In My Arms to picspam two extremely parallel Luka/Abby scenes, from the episodes Flight of Fancy and The Human Shield. I took some small liberties with the ordering of the song and the episodes, but that's just how it went down.

Also, I'd forgotten what a bitch ER is to color. For such a long-running and successful show, the lighting department must have had NO budget. I'm sure it doesn't help that I chose perhaps two of the darkest scenes in ER history...there's a reason fandom called Luka's apartment The Batcave, after all.

Anyway. Aw, ER. Aw, Luka/Abby. Sigh. Nostalgia.

I always thought that season 6's Temple was a really cool set, visually. And since that_evening requested Temple stuff on her day as the lostsquee Luau Queen, I figured I'd do a picspam of the pretty Temple architecture and scenery, with some bonus Dogen, because he's her favorite. For picspammy's twentieth challenge, tropes:

Hawkeye and Trapper of M*A*S*H are pretty much the epitome of Ho Yay. Ho Yay is defined as "any same-gender relationship that appears to be more than 'just good friends,'" or "alternately, those moments of plot, dialogue, acting, etc., that draw attention to possible homoerotic subtext in that relationship." Hawk/Trap certainly fits both definitions well. While I actually ship Hawkeye/BJ, if I had to pick a ship that was more truly canon (ie, who I think was actually banging whom in Korea), I'd have to pick Hawkeye/Trapper, hands down.

I recently discovered the BBC's Gavin & Stacey and have been delightedly marathoning the episodes. It's such an adorable show! Here, have some screencaps of the first three episodes.
